My Article Network vs. Unique Article Wizard

In this post I’m going to compare two services that are somewhat similar to each other, yet worlds apart.
My Article Network is an offering from the Callen brothers that is pretty impressive for a lot of reasons and they are as follows:
- Their blog network is at least 10,000 blogs strong and this is the resource you’re tapping into, the potential to get backlinks from 10,000 places
- Their service has a very reasonable monthly fee of #47.00/month
- There is an area inside your login for creating outsourcer logins so you can create a seperate login for writers or other people you might have working for you, and this allows you to totally outsource the usage of this service.
- You get links (lots of them) and you can limit the number of links you get per article submission which is a good thing.
Now let’s compare this to what Unique Article Wizard has for benefits and features.
UAW offers time-released submissions which allows you to build up backlinks in a more measured and natural manner, something that is very important if you want to do link building properly.
UAW will generate thousands of backlinks via your article submissions and to prove this, they periodically send you updates on how many credited links you’ve generated to all your sites.
With Unique Article Wizard there is also the potential for viral marketing and syndication of your articles. Part of the syndication of your articles is dependent upon the thousands of site owners receiving unique content via the Unique Article Wizard plugin. One of the settings for this plugin is to publish the link for where your main article is stored. It is kind of like a respository for articles that UAW members has submitted and all the articles are stored here in case someone reads one of your articles somewhere on the web and wants to grab a copy of it and publish it again, themselves. This leads to a viral marketing effect for your articles.
There’s really only 2 things that make Unique Article Wizard a better article marketing submission and syndication service, and those are:
The article spinner- UAW’s article spinner is easy to use once you become acclimated to their way of writing articles. My Article Network’s article spinner has the ability to spin your article to whatever PERCENT % uniqueness you want it to be prior to sending out, but it is a very laborious task yet well worth the effort.
UAW’s spinner is easier to use and saves you a lot of time
Article submission rate control - With UAW you can control how quickly your submissions are going out unlike My Article Network which just sends your article out there to their network and you could get all your articles published in a week, and that’s not a good thing since too many links generated in too short of a time leads to overlinking and possible sand-boxing by the search engines.
UAW gets the nod here as well since you can limit your submissions to 10/day and this leads to a more gradual and more effective link building campaign.

Here’s a list of Article Submission Services that are pretty popular/widely known.
****** NOT included in this list is the crap PLR and MRR products that are one-time-fee purchases that supposedly submit to a lot of “quality article directories”…
ISnare – sends one copy of your article out to hundreds of webmasters. Articles need to be 500 words or more. With their platinum level membership for $69.95/month, you can Distribute 300 articles per month with lots of benefits for $59.95/mo. recurring. You’ll get a smattering of traffic from this and a decent amount of backlinks, if a good portion of the articles submissions turn into Published articles.
Submit Your Article – this is better than ISnare as it submits to EzineArticles for you… cost is $37.00/month, only allows you to submit up to 8 articles per month and supposedly has some back-end technology that makes your content unique for better syndication effects.
Here is a very basic overview.
After signing up, you go through an initial one-time process where you enter some key information, such as your name, email address etc., your log in details for a handful of major article directories (so we can log in to your account with them on your behalf and take care of your article submission – there is only ten or so of these), and so on.
This initial set up process is a vital part of our high-quality article distribution process. You only need do it once, and then for each article submission the process is very simple:
- You enter your article into the system.
- When you are ready to distribute it, you simply click the button provided to do so.
Article Marketing Automation, A.K.A. AMA and the same service as My Article Network - blog networks supposedly 10k-20k sites in size. Great for backlinks and referral traffic, cost $47.00/month.
The sites in the network aren’t of the highest quality, the links obtained aren’t very powerful, but you DO get a lot of backlinks and the service is very easy to use, albeit a bit time-consuming to write good articles and spin them.
Unique Article Wizard - blog, html sites, and article directories network. You WILL get hundreds or even thousands of backlinks per article here, plus a decent amount of referral traffic. cost = $67.00/month and worth every penny.
As a happy user of “UAW” I get my articles submitted to an AVERAGE of 800 directories per submission and I see the links coming in regularly and see a lot of my articles showing up in the SERPs.
SpinDistribute - Another network of sites types of service where you get links form other sites in network AND from other sources,like directories… They also offer to write, submit, and syndicate 7 articles/month for $77.00/month, and you would be hard pressed to beat that kind of value.
1WayLinks - another blog network -type of service, (1500 strong last I checked) and the network is full of sites that got turned into link-farm quality sites, the links are ineffective and it’s not worth using even if it were free. cost: $47.00/month
MyWayLinks - this is like a closed door membership site/service whereby you’ll only get links from quality sites. The network is small compared to what My Article Network and Unique Article Wizard have for network size. Cost; $47.00/month.
ArticleSubmissionServices.com - Their sales page has typos in it and grammatical errors so I don’t think I’d be using them to write articles for me, nor would I pay money to have articles submitted to directories for me when I can do a lot more than that with pretty much any of the services listed on this post..
SendArticles.com - their sales page is too brief, and doesn’t say how many directories your articles get sent out to. Don’t forget… a link from an article directory is only ONE type of backlink, and you want to have a variance of backlink styles for a well-rounded link building campaign.
FastSubmitArticles.com - They submit one article to 352 directories for you for$30.00! that’s expensive and you don’t get much out of it, links-and-directories-wise…
SEO Content Writers - very professional-looking site here, and they’re expensive, too so they must be delivering the “goods”…
HOWEVER,
It has been my experience that it is FAR more effective, and much less costly to you if you develop your own way of doing things by using leverage.

All you have to do really, is get a service like My Article Network or Unique Article Wizard for $47.00 or $67.00/month then get some great articles written for you at places like getarticles.com, who specialize in writing UAW-formatted articles…

What are the major article directories you should manually publish articles to?
I get this question a lot of times so I figured I’d address this via a blog post…
There are 3-4 major article directories that are worth the manual effort to submit articles to…
- EzineArticles.com
- FindArticles.com
- Articlesbase.com
- Goarticles.com
Generally speaking EzineArticles, A.K.A. EZA is still the king when it comes to article directories whose published articles get the best rankings.
But you don’t need me to do that for you…
Prove it to yourself by typing in your niche keyword-based search queries and see which article directories show up before the others on a consistent basis.
In most cases EZA will be the first article directory to appear, but there are some article directories that do better than others for certain niches.
But why would anyone waste their time with manual article submissions when Unique Article Wizard sends unique versions of your articles to thousands of directories and websites?
#1- Because directories like EZA have strict quality control, only accept unique content, and your published articles will rank well if you do things correctly.
#2 – Because Unique Article Wizard doesn’t submit your articles to all 3-4 of these major article directories
Therefore there is still value to doing manual article marketing submissions if you don’t put a lot of value in your time and effort…
The fact remains that getting backlinks from these article dirrctories decreases in effectiveness with each new backlink you get from them.
The FACT is, some of the 3-4 directories will require that your articles be unique content which means you have to write yet another article plus go through another manual submission process.
On the other hand, with Unique Article Wizard, you write ONE article and the you’re done, ONE-and-DONE-done…
ONE “UAW” article submission = hundreds OR even thousands of backlinks and extremely deep and wide article syndication
My recommendation has always been to:
- go with the “hot hand” and manually submit an article to EZA only (forget using the other major directories)
- then use your EZA article as the basis for your article submission via Unique Article Wizard.
- You can even link to your EZA articles from your UAW articles, in case you find yourself competing with other EZA articles for top SERPs.

Unique Article Wizard article writing tips

As I mentioned in a previous post, I tested out Unique Article Wizard for 5 months for free by using the WordPress plugin to receive free articles.
After using receiving free articles for close to 8 months now, at the time of this writing, I noticed that some UAW users are making some mistakes.
I want to share this information with to better improve your results with using Unique Article Wizard now, and/or to better prepare you for when you do “take the plunge” and start rockin’ and rollin’ with UAW…
Here’s a mistake that some Unique Article Wizard users are doing…
They’re writing these 2-part articles (part 1, part 2) and submitting them for syndication…
This will have 2 drawbacks for you if you start submitting articles using a “pillar articles series” method of writing Part 1, then Part 2 article series.
You see, sometimes site owners like me didn’t see or approve the Part ONE article, so when we see in the title of the article some thing like;
“The XL40-1200 series widget review – Part 2″
it just doesn’t make sense for site owners to publish this second article, no matter how good it is because we haven’t seen nor published the part ONE article yet.
You might have great content in the Part TWO article but that doesn’t matter to me, as a free article receiver because in order for me to publish this Part TWO article, I’d have to spend time rewording the title.
If you publish Part TWO without posting part ONE, your site visitors will want to see Parts ONE and TWO and when they don’t see both they’re disappointed and left unsatisfied.
The Second reason you don’t want to write articles this way is a time issue…
Even if you submit your multi-part article series all at once, site owners receiving these free articles may not publish them in the order they were received.
You see, I know the pace at which new sites should publish new content and the pace at which older sites should publish new content…
New sites should publish new content at a much slower pace than older, aged sites should.
Therefore, for my new sites, I’m not going to post every day, or even every week…
Therefore some of my sites have a bit of a time gap between posting dates.
Therefore, when I am ready to publish a new “UAW” article, your Part 2 article might be lost amongst the other articles in my admin panel queue… so when I go to approve/publish a new article, I may not see your queued
Part TWO article right away, and will probably just publish the next good article I see in the queue.
So even if I did publish both of the articles in the 2-part series, my site visitors will see the Part 2 article on the front page and wonder where part 2 is…
And I could help them out by linking to the Part ONE article previously published but that’s more work for me.
Using Unique Article Wizard for receiving free content is supposed to make life easier for you, not make more work for you..
So avoid these 2-part article series when submitting articles via UAW…
SAVE these multi-part article series for your own content sites and link them together and post them in order…
IF you insist on submitting multi-part article series via Unique Article Wizard, you should link to your sites where the whole article series is there and in order.
If I saw a free article that read “Blah-blah-blah , Part ONE” in the title but your article linked to part TWO (like on your own site, see above sentence), then that will have the added benefit of increasing your click through rates and will definitely increase the percentage of submissions that actually get approved and published…

UAW Plugins for Various Article Directories
However, there are some tips for using these plugins that you should be aware of…
1- You will receive articles based on the categories you’ve created on your site
2- The articles you receive will be based on the name of your categories, not the keywords or slugs behind the categories, so if you have a category called REVIEWS, you’;re going to get a lot of generic articles not relevant to your sites’ topics and theme because REVIEWS is a pretty general term.
You should make your categories as specific as possible by naming them something like, “Health Product Reviews”…
3- When you set up the Unique Article Wizard Plugin, make sure you set it to NOT auto-approve and publish articles sent to you because you really should be vigilant about what kind of content is being published on your site.
4- If you’re not getting a lot of articles sent to you,
- expand the number of categories that you have on your site,
- or rename your categories to more general, but niche-specific terms so you get more relevant articles.
5- If you’re not happy with the quality of articles you’re receiving, increase the number of daily articles sent to you to a higher number, like 3 or 4, so you have a bigger pool of articles to draw from.
6- Improve the articles you’re being sent
- by changing the headlines to put the keywords you’re targeting in the front of the article titles. This is good for SEO since the closer your keywords are to the beginning of the article title, the easier it will be for that post to rank well for those terms/keywords..
- by fixing the typos that some of these article will eventually have. If you have to fix any of the free articles you’ve been sent, feel free to remove one of the backlinks in these articles for your troubles. If you are linking to someone by publishing their articles, and you’re also spending time fixing their articles, there’s nothing wrong with removing one of the backlinks in my opinion.
- If the articles you’re accepting and publishing are linking to the same site url more than once, remove one of those duplicate links since there’s no harm done by doing this, and it makes your site seem less spammy…
Remember, you’re getting free articles and free site content here so these authors are doing you a favor by providing relevant site content for you, so make sure you leave the links in their articles intact (except in the scenarios outlined above)
Also remember that you’re doing these authors a favor by publishing their articles, providing them free backlinks, and fixing their articles as needed…
